Fourteen people in total were returned under the Dublin Regulation to Germany and France on this flight.</p><p>The Government’s efforts to facilitate entirely legitimate and legal returns of people who have entered the U.K. through illegal routes are too often frustrated by last minute challenges submitted hours before a scheduled flight. Most receiving countries are notified of the potential return of their national if a travel document is required to facilitate the journey. Receiving countries have differing requirements for travel documentation. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/02/2018 answer text <p>There is no specific notice period for failed asylum seekers to leave the UK. <br>Individuals, including failed asylum seekers, with no leave to remain and no further outstanding applications are expected to leave the UK voluntarily at the earliest opportunity. The Home Office provides assistance and advice to facilitate voluntary returns</p><p>If an individual refuses to leave the UK voluntarily, the Home Office will pursue an enforced return. They will be issued with a ‘notice of liability for removal’, which sets out that they can be removed after seven calendar days if they are not detained, and 72 hours if they are detained</p><p>Family groups are provided with greater support and advice and will be invited to attend a family return conference. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/04/2016 answer text <p>The incorrect figures given in the original response to Question HL2297 resulted from the use of an incorrect definition which excluded former Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children who now had linked dependants and cases made prior to October 2006. This error was identified following the correction of PQ 13206 in February 2016, which prompted a review of other related answers resulting in correction of this and five related House of Commons answers.</p><p>Such mistakes are rare and when they occur they are taken very seriously. It is regrettable that human error caused the original response to be incorrect. Improvements have been put in place to ensure that such mistakes will not be made in future. This publication is available from GOV.UK on the statistics web pages at: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/home-office/series/immigration-statistics-quarterly-release.</p><p>Deportations are a specific subset of removals which are enforced either following a criminal conviction or when it is judged that a person’s removal from the UK is conducive to the public good. The deportation order prohibits the person returning to the UK until such time as it may be revoked. It is not possible to separately identify deportations from enforced removals. Figures therefore cannot be provided.</p><p>The Home Office is committed to ensuring adequate safeguards are in place for those where there are concerns about self harm or suicide. Records of removals on the Immigration Database only go back to 2006.
