<p>The Commission does not have a specific responsibility in relation to scrutinising
subcontractors of the National Lottery Operator, and as such, was not previously aware
of IGT’s report.</p><p>The National Lottery is run by Camelot under licence by the
Gambling Commission, and as such it is for the operator to ensure compliance with
a range of reporting requirements, including under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.</p><p>The
Section 5 National Lottery Licence requires the Operator to comply with all relevant
laws to the extent they impose obligations or restrictions on it. It also requires
any subcontractors to operate with due propriety.</p>
