For details on Type 26 and Type 31, I refer the Rt Hon. Member to the answer given by my noble Friend, the Minister of State at the Ministry of Defence (Baroness Goldie), on 9 March 2021 to Question HL13634 in the House of Lords and the answer I gave to the Rt Hon. Member for North Durham on 5 March 2021 to Question 22374.Type 32 remains in the conceptual phase, however on current projected plans, the expected in-service date is in the early 2030s.
