<p>NHS England and NHS Improvement – Midlands has not received any direct report on
flu vaccine shortages from general practitioner (GP) practices and community pharmacies
in the Birmingham and Solihull Sustainability and Transformation Partnership.</p><p>GPs
and pharmacists are directly responsible for ordering flu vaccine from suppliers which
are used to deliver the national flu programme to adults. In addition, the Department
has procured additional flu vaccine that will be available from November in addition
to the supplies already ordered by providers.</p>
