<p>With regards to energy, under the Energy Act 2013, a Strategy and Policy Statement (SPS) requires that my Rt. Hon. Friend the Secretary of State set out the Government’s strategic priorities in formulating its policy for the energy sector. The forthcoming Energy White Paper will address the transformation of our energy system, promoting high-skilled jobs and clean, resilient economic growth as we deliver net-zero emissions by 2050.</p>
