answer text <p>Xailin products are available for prescribing in Birmingham and Solihull. These can all be prescribed where the clinician is assured that the clinical condition warrants a prescription. The integrated care boards are not aware of any supply issues for any of these products.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Autumn Statement set out a commitment to work with consumer groups and industry to consider the best approach to consumer protection from April 2024. As part of this work, the Government is working with disability organisations, assessing the need for support for people with disabilities including those using medical equipment in the home.</p><p>The Department of Energy Security and Net Zero plan to consult in Summer 2023 on options for a new approach to consumer protection in the energy markets from April 2024 onwards. The Department of Health and Social Care is supporting on this consultation in the interests of patients that require to utilise energy to run their medical equipment. We do not plan to consult on this issue separately.</p> more like this

answer text <p>UK Visas and Immigration have contacted all customers where records show that their passports are in the Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Khartoum. They have offered them a letter confirming that their passport is securely stored and attaching a digital copy of their passport, that may help support their travel out of Sudan and into a third country.</p><p> </p><p>For customers that have been able to exit Sudan, processes are in place to re-direct printing of their visa and endorsement on a Form for affixing a visa (FAV) to another VAC location of their choice for collection</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Energy Bill Relief Scheme review took account of contributions from the private sector, trade associations, the voluntary sector and other types of organisations on sectors that may be most affected by rising energy prices based on energy and trade intensity. The outcome of the review informed the criteria for the Energy Bills Discount Scheme (EBDS).</p><p> </p><p>Eligible SMEs will get the baseline discount. The higher ETII support will be provided to SMEs that meet the eligibility criteria. The EBDS reflects the scale of change in the energy market as prices continue to fall. The EBDS strikes the right balance by supporting businesses over the next year, ensuring fiscal responsibility and limiting the taxpayer’s exposure to volatile energy markets.</p> more like this
