<p>We are concerned by the demolition of 16 small businesses in Shufat Refugee Camp on 21 November. On 23 November the Minister for the Middle East and North Africa tweeted our concerns about these demolitions and the European Union issued a statement on 24 November. We are seriously concerned by the continued demolition of Palestinian property by Israeli authorities. Officials from our Embassy in Tel Aviv repeatedly raise concerns about demolitions with Israeli Ministers and senior officials. In all but the most exceptional of circumstances demolitions are contrary to International Humanitarian Law.</p>
