<p>The Home Office publishes data on the number of applications from unaccompanied
asylum seeking children (UASC) and initial decisions for such applications, in the
quarterly <em>Immigration Statistics </em>publication. The latest figures, up until
2017, are available at the following link:</p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/immigration-statistics-october-to-december-2017"

as_08 (asylum tables, vol. 3) contains the number of applications from UASC, based
on date of application.</p><p>Table as_09 (asylum tables, vol. 3) contains the number
of grants at initial decisions for UASC, based on date of initial decision.</p><p>Table
as_02_q_c (asylum tables, vol. 2) contains the number of grants of asylum or alternative
forms of protection at initial decision for under 18’s. This includes those granted
as a main applicant, dependants to another application or as a UASC.</p>
