answer text <p>The Rapid Support Forces are now formally a part of the Sudanese Armed Forces. The UK continues to impress upon the Government of Sudan that, as they move into the security space in Darfur, and as UNAMID bases are handed over, it is vital that they provide safety for civilians in a manner that is compliant with both international humanitarian and human rights law. The UK is in regular contact with UNAMID and is monitoring the reconfiguration of the Mission closely.</p> more like this
