answer text <p>All providers who successfully meet the eligibility criteria, including the rigorous quality assessments by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education<strong>​​</strong>, and which have sufficient metrics to be assessed, will achieve a Bronze award, or above, in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). Those providers which have met the eligibility criteria but do not have sufficient metrics will instead receive a provisional award.</p><p>As noted during the Higher Education and Research Bill process some providers do not meet the eligibility requirements noted for TEF. Providers who do not meet the eligibility requirements, or who chose not to participate, will appear without a TEF award on Unistats and on the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service.</p> more like this

answer text <p>As the Foreign Secretary stated on 13 July, we are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Liu Xiaobo. He was a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and lifelong campaigner for democracy, human rights and peace. His death is a huge loss and our thoughts are with his wife, Liu Xia, his wider family, friends and supporters.</p><p>The Foreign and Commonwealth Office Minister of State for Asia and the Pacific raised the case of Liu Xiaobo directly with the Chinese Ambassador on 5 July. He called for Liu Xiaobo to be allowed full access to the medical treatment of his choice and for all restrictions on him and his family to be lifted. We also raised his case at the UK-China Human Rights Dialogue which was held in Beijing on 27 June.</p> more like this

answer text <p>One scheme has been cancelled following the public consultation. The A27 Chichester Bypass scheme in West Sussex was dependent on local support and financial contribution of the authorities and there was no clear consensus on the best way forward.</p><p> </p><p>Three schemes in construction have delays to their &quot;open to traffic&quot; dates. The A1 Leeming to Barton scheme in North Yorkshire has been delayed following extensive archaeological finds. The A21 Tonbridge to Pembury scheme in Kent has been delayed due to the need for remedial action to deal with unforeseen large volumes of hazardous waste. The A30 Temple to Carblake scheme is being delivered by Cornwall County Council and has been delayed due to changes in traffic management to reduce disruption during peak summer months.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The UK remains very concerned by the tensions in the Gulf. The Prime Minister, Foreign Secretary and other Ministers continue to engage with our Gulf friends to encourage de-escalation and support Kuwait's mediation efforts. On 4 July, the Prime Minister called His Royal Highness The Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates to reiterate the need for all sides to take urgent steps to de-escalate the situation and restore Gulf Cooperation Council unity. The Foreign Secretary most recently visited the region on 7-9 July to deliver the same message.</p> more like this
