The role of the Faculty is to build trade policy and negotiations capability in Departments across Her Majesty's Government.</p><p> </p><p>To date over 200 DIT staff have undertaken trade policy training offered by the Trade Faculty or organised directly by DIT.</p><p> </p><p>The Faculty has a training budget of c. £1,600,000 for 2017-18, which will cover training on a range of trade policy topics and negotiations. We have raised our concerns with the Government of Yemen, and sought to highlight their plight through public diplomacy. We call on all parties to respect freedom of religion and belief and to protect the fundamental human rights of all Yemenis.
