answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/04/2017 answer text <p>Within Cabinet Office, the Cyber and Government Security Directorate (CGSD) is responsible for ensuring delivery of the National Cyber Security Strategy. At any one time approximately 45 full time equivalent staff in CGSD work directly on cyber security. There have been no consultants employed in cyber security roles within CGSD over the last 5 years. At various times CGSD has employed secondees from the private sector.</p><p> </p><p>There are other roles in Cabinet Office teams which work partially on cyber security as part of broader policy and security issues.
