answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/03/2021 answer text <p>£200 million will be specifically available to secondary schools to deliver a face to face summer programme. Evidence from the Education Endowment Foundation shows that summer schools can help pupils make up 2 months’ additional progress. We are investing in summer schools as part of the targeted offer to young people who will most benefit.</p><p>Schools will be able to target provision based on pupils’ needs although we suggest they may want initially to target incoming Year 7 pupils. This is alongside wider support funded through our Holiday Activities and Food Programme across the country.</p><p>The Department will ensure that funding is available for all secondary schools that wish to run a summer school provision, including middle schools and we will apply extra weighting to fund special and alternative provision schools.</p><p>The Department will provide details of how the funds will be allocated in due course, ensuring that schools have adequate time to plan ahead for the summer provision.</p> answering member constituency Bognor Regis and Littlehampton answering member printed Nick Gibb question first answered 01/03/2021 18:35:36 answering member 111 label Biography information for Nick Gibb

answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/03/2021 answer text <p>Schools’ allocations from the Recovery Premium are calculated based on the numbers of their pupils who are eligible for the pupil premium. This will provide each mainstream school with a total of £145 for each eligible pupil and special, alternative provision, hospital schools and special units within mainstream schools, with £290 for each eligible pupil, across the 2021/22 academic year. We have applied additional weighting to specialist settings, recognising the significantly higher per pupil costs they face.</p><p>Recognising the uneven distribution of pupil premium eligible pupils, we have also ensured that no primary school will receive less than £2,000 and no secondary school will receive less than £6,000. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/03/2021 answer text <p>Barkingside Magistrates’ Court is in the North East London Local Justice Area, and all trials for that area are listed at Romford Magistrates’ Court. There are currently 109 motoring cases and 395 non motoring cases awaiting summary trial at Romford Magistrates’ Court, along with 53 Youth case trials.</p><p> </p><p>The average waiting time for a case between charge and first listing at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court is 17 days for bail cases with an anticipated guilty plea, 29 days for bail cases with an anticipated not guilty plea.
