	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/09/2019 answer text <p>Forestry is a devolved matter and these figures apply to England only.</p><p> </p><p>The Government remains committed to planting 11 million trees this parliament, and to the shared aspiration of reaching 12% woodland cover in England by 2060.</p><p> </p><p>We have amended our main grant schemes to make applications easier by streamlining the application processes, opening the Countryside Stewardship Woodland Creation window all year round and reducing the threshold of applications from 30 hectares to 10 hectares for Woodland Carbon Fund applications. That is why we have introduced reforms to dividend taxation and capital gains tax, and ended permanent non-domicile status – to ensure the rich pay their fair share. This has led to the top 1% of income taxpayers paying 29% of income tax – a record high.</p><p> </p><p>This Government is also committed to ensuring opportunities are shared in every part of the country. People across all regions are benefitting from investments the Government is making. For example, since 2015, £12bn from the Local Growth Fund has been provided to local enterprise partnerships for projects that benefit the local area and economy. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/09/2019 answer text <p>We are committed to paying 90% of undisputed and valid invoices from SMEs within 5 days and 100% of all undisputed and valid invoices within 30 days. Government departments must report their payment performance on a quarterly basis on GOV.UK.</p><p>Through the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, public sector buyers must include 30-day payment terms in public sector contracts; and require that this payment term be passed down the supply chain. Where this is not happening, businesses are encouraged to raise this with the Public Procurement Review Service in the Cabinet Office, who will investigate.</p><p>From September, any supplier who bids for a Government contract above £5m per annum will be expected to pay 95% of invoices in 60 days across all their business. The Scottish Parliament will now be able to legislate in every area where the Scotland Act 2016 has given it the power to do so. The Joint Ministerial Working Group on Welfare continues to meet as a forum for discussion and decision-making to ensure the implementation of welfare and employment-related aspects of the Scotland Act 2016. The most recent meeting was held on 27th June 2019.</p><p><br>The devolution of tax and borrowing powers to Scotland has increased the accountability of the Scottish Government.</p><p>The Government has been clear that it expects that EU exit will lead to an increase in decision-making powers for the devolved administrations. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/09/2019 answer text <p>We are deeply concerned about the persecution of Christians, as we are about those of other faiths or beliefs, in many parts of the world. The former Foreign Secretary commissioned an Independent Review into the subject, led by the Bishop of Truro, and the Government has accepted all of its recommendations.</p><p>Officials and Ministers regularly raise the protection of minority communities, including religious minorities, with the Pakistani Government. The former Foreign Secretary discussed the treatment of minority religious communities with Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi during his visit to the UK in June 2019. Minister of State, Lord (Tariq) Ahmad of Wimbledon, raised our concerns with Pakistan's Human Rights Minister on 19 February. We have also supported projects in Pakistan to promote greater tolerance and religious freedom and, in November 2018, announced a new £12m fund to bolster the work of civil society and NGOs to promote respect, and the value of religious diversity and tolerance.</p><p>The UK is committed to supporting Nigeria in upholding the right to freedom of religion or belief, as protected by its constitution. The recent escalation in intercommunal violence has affected multiple states of Nigeria and communities of all religions. We regularly engage faith-based organisations and raise our concerns with the Nigerian government. In northeast Nigeria, Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa seek to undermine the right to freedom of religion by attacking both Muslims and Christians who do not subscribe to their extremist views. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/09/2019 answer text <p>The Government recognises that widespread free access to, and acceptance of, cash remains extremely important to the day-to-day lives of many consumers and businesses in the UK.</p><p> </p><p>In Spring 2018, the Government conducted a Call for Evidence on Cash &amp; Digital Payments in the New Economy. In the recent response to this Call for Evidence, the Government committed to supporting digital payments whilst safeguarding access to cash for those who need it. Furthermore, the Government announced the launch of the Joint Authorities Cash Strategy (JACS) Group, which brings together the Payment Systems Regulator (PSR), Financial Conduct Authority and Bank of England to ensure a comprehensive oversight of the overall cash infrastructure in light of changing trends related to cash.</p><p> </p><p>The Government established the PSR in 2015, with robust powers and a statutory objective to ensure that the UK's payment systems work in the interests of their users. The PSR regulates LINK, the scheme which runs the UK’s ATM network, and has used its powers to hold LINK to account over LINK’s commitments to preserve the broad geographic spread of the ATM network.</p><p> </p><p>Furthermore, the Government has invested heavily in maintaining a stable network of Post Office branches, with investment of over £2 billion since 2010. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/09/2019 answer text <p>The NHS Long Term Plan set out the commitment to diagnose 75% of cancers being at stage 1 or 2 by 2028.</p><p>As recommended by the UK National Screening Committee and the independent Cancer Taskforce, we are modernising our world-renowned cancer screening programmes by introducing Faecal Immunochemical Testing into the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme as soon as possible and human papillomavirus as the primary test in the NHS Cervical Screening Programme by 2020.</p><p>NHS England is establishing Rapid Diagnostic Centres across the country to upgrade and bring together the latest diagnostic equipment and expertise.
