The International Research and Innovation Strategy sets out how we will achieve this by deepening international engagement, partnerships and practical collaboration.</p><p>There are strong links between the UK and EU’s research and innovation communities, with a long track record of jointly tackling global challenges. We are working to ensure that collaboration can continue in any scenario, including the funding commitment made under the Horizon 2020 guarantee and extension.</p><p>We are exploring association to the Horizon Europe programme, as well as considering alternative options as part of a review of the future UK funding landscape. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/08/2019 answer text <p>Through our Modern Industrial Strategy we committed to increasing R&amp;D investment across the economy to 2.4% of GDP by 2027, which would be the highest recorded level, and 3% in the longer-term.</p><p>We know that there are significant clusters of R&amp;D strengths in all regions and nations of the UK.</p><p>The Government confirmed in the 2018 Budget that the Strength in Places Fund is to receive a further £120m to bring the fund budget for the period up to 2021/22 to £236m. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 31/07/2019 answer text <p>The Government is committed to working with the business community to create more inclusive workplaces from the shop floor to the boardroom. The Government has commissioned and supports several business-led, independent reviews on promoting diversity, including the Hampton-Alexander Review to increase the representation of women on boards and in senior leadership positions in FTSE 350 companies to 33% by 2020 and the Parker Review to increase the ethnic diversity of FTSE 350 boards by 2024.</p><p>These reviews form part of the Government’s modern Industrial Strategy which aims to build an economy that works for all.</p><p> </p><p>The statistics recently published by the Hampton-Alexander Review on 1<sup>st</sup> July, show that the representation of women on FTSE100 boards has risen from 12.5% in 2011 to 32.3%, and on FTSE350 boards from 9.5% to 29.5%; and all-male boards in the FTSE 350 have gone down from 152 to 4 in the same period.</p> answering member constituency Rochester and Strood answering member printed Kelly Tolhurst question first answered 31/07/2019 16:19:42 answering member 4487 label Biography information for Kelly Tolhurst

That is why the government included provisions in the Data Protection Act 2018 requiring the Information Commissioner to produce the age appropriate design code, to set out practical guidance for relevant information society services on the specific protections for children’s personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).</p><p> </p><p>The ICO will continue to have a proportionate approach to regulation and held a public consultation earlier this year inviting feedback on the draft code.
