In this advice note the IAEP states the following:</p><p> </p><p><em>“The view of the Expert Panel is that the level of risk from unsafe HPL systems is not as high a risk as unsafe systems using ACM Category 3 panels. Therefore, the Expert Panel remains clear that the immediate removal of unsafe systems using ACM Category 3 panels should be an absolute priority of focus for building owners and the sector, followed by immediate action to remediate unsafe HPL systems. The responsibility for this, and for meeting legal obligations, lies with individual higher education (HE) providers.</p><p> </p><p>The government expects HE providers to keep records of incidents disclosed to them and act swiftly to investigate and address them. It is important to recognise that under-reporting is common and HE providers should continue to break down barriers to reporting by ensuring that students and staff feel safe and are able to disclose sexual misconduct.</p><p> </p><p>The government takes all forms of sexual harassment extremely seriously. Therefore, the government is working closely with Universities UK (UUK) and the Office for Students (OfS) to support work to address sexual harassment and other forms of discrimination in HE institutions. This includes implementation of the UUK’s sexual violence and harassment taskforce’s recommendations on handling of reports and disclosures, as well as enabling accurate data to be captured to determine the scale of the problem and track year on-year trends.</p><p> </p><p>The government expects HE providers to take these recommendations seriously. Furthermore, the government has tasked the OfS to support this work. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/07/2019 answer text <p>Everyone entitled to the National Minimum Wage (NMW) should receive it.</p><p> </p><p>All businesses, irrespective of size or business sector, are responsible in law for paying the correct minimum wage to their staff.</p><p> </p><p>HMRC actively promote compliance by working with both employers and workers to raise awareness of the employers’ obligations and workers’ rights in respect of NMW. This includes scanning the internet for adverts with a view to making contact where a business may appear to be non-compliant with its NMW obligations.</p><p> </p><p>HMRC do not hold a record of employers advertising for unpaid internships but in the last 12 months has received 40 complaints relating to issues affecting interns. Funding and delivery of this programme is through a network of computing hubs, and in July 2019, NCCE announced the first tranche of 23 hubs.</p><p>Truro and Penwith College is the first hub appointed in Cornwall. The Department will have a network of computing hubs offering full geographical coverage across England, by the end of the year. That means that we will be able to provide immediate support for these claimants who were entitled to the Severe Disability Premium on legacy benefits and who have already moved onto Universal Credit. These claimants will also be considered for backdated payments covering the time since they moved onto Universal Credit, as well as ongoing monthly payments that reflect any lost Severe Disability Premium. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/07/2019 answer text <p>Discussions with Vertex, including meetings, are ongoing.</p><p>NHS England and NHS Improvement are leading the negotiations with Vertex and have made a revised and improved offer to Vertex that would provide immediate funding for Orkambi and Symkevi in advance of a positive assessment by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), in addition to expanded access to Kalydeco which is already funded by the National Health Service for certain patients.</p><p>The Government fully supports NICE, NHS England and NHS Improvement in seeking to ensure access for patients to effective and innovative medicines at a price that represents value to the NHS, and it is not for Ministers to intervene in this process.
