	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/07/2019 answer text <p>Public Health England (PHE) advises that the guidelines of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) should be adopted and there is no convincing evidence that radio wave exposures below the ICNIRP guideline levels cause adverse health effects. The ICNIRP guidelines cover exposures arising from new 5G base stations, as well as from older technologies.</p><p>Many exposure measurements have been made at publicly accessible locations near to mobile phone base stations, and these have consistently been well within guidelines. Within this, DCMS is working closely with Ofcom and BEIS agencies to ensure 5G developments take into account Earth Observation services.</p><p> </p><p>Identification of spectrum bands at global level to support 5G services worldwide will be on the agenda at the upcoming World Radio Conference 2019 (WRC-19). This commitment applies to the whole of the UK.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has further guaranteed that the current level of agricultural funding under CAP Pillar 1 will be upheld until 2020, as part of the transition to new domestic arrangements.</p><p> </p><p>To deliver this, Defra has made a number of statutory instruments under the powers in the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018.
