<p>Section 40 of the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act 2015 requires certain public sector contracting authorities to give reasonable assistance to investigations by the Cabinet Office’s Public Procurement Review Service. The Public Procurement Review Service investigates concerns raised by suppliers about public procurement practice, including late payment. It has not carried out and has no plans to carry out an investigation into the promptness of payment by Kier.</p>
