	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/06/2019 answer text <p>The NHS Long Term Plan sets out clearly the need to reduce inequalities in health that different groups of the population currently face.</p><p>The NHS Long Term Plan will give 370,000 adults and older adults with severe mental illness greater choice and control over their care through new models of integrated primary and community mental health care.</p><p>In addition, the first ever cross-Government suicide prevention workplan sets out an ambitious programme for every local authority, every National Health Service trust and every prison will have a plan in place to prevent suicide. We will invest up to £600,000 to support local authorities to strengthen their suicide prevention plans and implement the recommendations identified by the independent evaluation of local plans.</p><p>The learning disabilities health check scheme is designed to encourage general practices to identify patients aged 14 and over with learning disabilities, to maintain a learning disabilities 'health check' register and offer individuals an annual health check, which will include producing a health action plan. Such checks are intended to ensure that any undetected health conditions are identified earlier and that on-going treatment and care is appropriate to the individual’s needs. The NHS Long Term Plan commits to improve uptake of the scheme so that at least 75% of those eligible have a health check each year.</p><p>In addition, the Learning Disabilities Mortality Review Programme supports local areas to review the deaths of people with learning disabilities and to use the information to build up a detailed picture of key improvements needed, both locally and at a national level, to reduce the inequality in life expectancy between people with a learning disability, and those without. The learning from the programme is being used to inform programmes of work to address key mortality issues such as sepsis, constipation, and cancer.</p><p>Regarding black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) groups, the Long Term Plan also highlights improvements to continuity of midwifery care for women from the BAME community; improving the Diabetes Prevention Programme; and improving bowel screening rates for people from minority ethnic groups. 	question text	To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the report by Every Child Protected Against Trafficking UK, Anti-Slavery International and the Pacific Links Foundation, Precarious Journeys: Mapping vulnerabilities of victims of trafficking from Vietnam to Europe, published 7 March, in particular its finding (1) that 1,127 Vietnamese children were arrested in the UK between 2012 and 2018, mostly for immigration and drug offences, despite the known risks of trafficking amongst this group, (2) in regard to the Government's identification and protection of Vietnamese victims and potential victims of trafficking, and (3) that rigid policies to control immigration and growing anti-immigration rhetoric throughout Europe and in the UK exacerbate the vulnerability of Vietnamese adults and children to trafficking and exploitation.

	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/06/2019 answer text <p>The Home Office welcomes the useful research by the Pacific Links Foundation, ECPAT and Anti-Slavery International, which was supported by the Home Office’s Modern Slavery Innovation Fund. The report contributes to the evidence base on modern slavery and we are taking the recommendations into consideration.</p><p>The decision to arrest is ultimately an operational decision; to support this decision making, the Government has invested in police training and awareness as part of the £11.6m Modern Slavery Police Transformation Programme investment so that officers are aware of the signs and indicators of victims encountered in the course of police duties, even if this is in relation to enforcement of drug legislation, for example. The White Paper proposals include a new route for skilled workers which will be open to anyone at RQF level 3 and above, irrespective of where they are applying from. The White Paper is clear that those applying in this route will be subject to an assessment of their language skills in order to support integration.</p><p>The Shortage Occupation List (SOL), is based on expert advice from the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) and identifies those occupations deemed to be in national shortage. It does not include a separate language assessment. The MAC published their most recent review of the full SOL on the 29 May. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/06/2019 answer text <p>The British Government is deeply concerned by reports that hospitals in Khartoum were being controlled and targeted by Sudanese security forces. It is unacceptable for injured civilians to be prevented access to medical facilities. These are not the actions of responsible and credible authorities representing the people of Sudan.</p><p>On 6 June, I summoned the Sudanese Ambassador to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to express our grave concerns at the use of all forms of violence against civilians and medical professionals, by the Sudanese authorities. Whilst this is ongoing we launched the £250,000 interim EnAble Fund. The fund supported around 40 disabled candidates in the local elections in May. Since then we have seen a significant shift in women’s participation in, and experiences of, the workplace.</p><p>The Council has successfully influenced government policy on shared parental leave, flexible working and the provision of childcare. Successful organisations funded under the first round began their programmes early this year.</p><p>These programmes provide extensive support to returners, supporting them to develop skills, build confidence, and complete accredited qualifications and training before they return to the labour market.
