unstar this property answer text <p><ins class="ministerial"> <p><ins class="ministerial">Primary Care Networks (PCNs) are a new way for primary and community service organisations to work together. For PCNs to be successful they will need to work in partnership with local people and the communities they serve. Legal duties which currently apply to NHS service providers - including general practitioner practices - and commissioners around engagement and consultation will continue to be valid for PCNs.</ins></p></ins></p><p><del class="ministerial">NHS England and NHS Improvement, together with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, is developing a ’commercial framework’ setting out the parameters for the commercial approach for medicines in the health service in England.</del></p><p><del class="ministerial">The commercial framework will support a single, transparent, robust and integrated pricing and market access process, and is being tested with and informed through consultation with stakeholders including the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry.</del></p><p><del class="ministerial">In preparation for public consultation in the coming months, NHS England is actively engaging with industry trade bodies and health system partners, in the first instance, to outline progress on the development of the commercial framework. The consultation on the draft framework is anticipated to be launched in Quarter 3 2019 with consultation events to be held in Manchester and London, and implementation of the commercial framework is expected to follow.</del></p>

unstar this property answer text <p>The Government recognises the impact that debt and financial difficulty can have on men’s mental health and wellbeing and that men are at a higher risk of suicide.</p><p> </p><p>The National Suicide Prevention Strategy highlights groups that need tailored approaches to address their mental health needs to reduce their suicide risk, including men. Every local authority has a suicide prevention plan in place and we are investing £25 million over the next three years to support these local plans. We have worked with NHS England and Public Health England to ensure that this funding is used to test different approaches to reaching men in local communities.</p><p> </p><p>We are working with the local government sector to assess the effectiveness of those plans, and a report will be published shortly that will highlight areas of best practice and areas for improvement. This report will include an analysis of the extent to which local authority plans are addressing high risk groups.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>There has been an increase in cases of measles since the end of 2017 with close to 1,000 cases reported in 2018. However, the majority of these cases (628/966, 65%) are in individuals aged less than one year old and over 15 years i.e. those not in recently vaccinated age cohorts. Almost half (352/795, 44%) of the cases in Q1 were in unvaccinated individuals. unstar this property answer text <p>Contracts are awarded to suppliers submitting the most economically advantageous tender demonstrating the delivery of value for money.</p><p> </p><p>Crown Commercial Service, who act as HM Treasury’s commercial arm, have a policy of always considering social value, and building it into its commercial agreements wherever it is appropriate.</p><p> </p><p>The Government wants UK companies to be successful in public procurement but it is unlawful to negatively assess a bid from a foreign supplier, or a supplier with a foreign supply chain.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>Mixed age couples already claiming Pension Credit and/or Housing Benefit for pensioners immediately before the implementation date on 15 May 2019 will not be affected by the policy, so long as they remain entitled to either benefit.</p><p> </p><p>Those making a new claim to Universal Credit, or already claiming it, will be able to have a conversation with their work coach or case manager, in the same way as other claimants, so that a managed payment to their landlord can be considered in Universal Credit for their housing costs.</p><p> </p><p>Couples who would have been eligible for Pension Credit or Housing Benefit for pensioners under the previous rules but had not claimed before 15 May 2019, will have up to 13 August 2019 to make a backdated claim to 14 May 2019.</p> more like this
