That is why the Government continues to engage with the regulators and industry in this area.</p><p> </p><p>In 2015, the Government established the Payment Systems Regulator (PSR), with a statutory objective to ensure that the UK’s payment systems work in the interests of their users. As a result, the PSR is closely monitoring developments within ATM provision, and has used its powers to ensure LINK meets its commitment on maintaining the broad geographical spread of free-to-use ATMs.</p><p> </p><p>The Treasury has not made an estimate of the number of free-to-use ATMS that have been converted to pay-to-use in each of the last five years. The table is set out by prison and year, and monthly breakdowns can be found by using the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ functions at the top of the table.</p><p> </p><p>We are taking steps to reduce self-harm and self-inflicted death levels by rolling out improved suicide and self-harm training for new and existing staff. Over 25,000 staff have received some training and over 14,000 have received training in all six modules.</p><p> </p><p>Violence in prisons remains unacceptably high but there are early signs that we are making progress. This includes work that we cannot breakdown geographically such as our funding to the Global Environment Facility and our work on curbing illicit financial flows. We also invest substantial sums in tackling deforestation which helps to protect habitats for endangered species such as the Sumatran tiger and Asian elephant. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/06/2019 answer text <p>The Government is committed to reducing homelessness and rough sleeping. No one should ever have to sleep rough. That is why last summer we published the cross-government Rough Sleeping Strategy. This sets out an ambitious £100 million package to help people who sleep rough now, but also puts in place the structures that will end rough sleeping once and for all. The Government has now committed over £1.2 billion to tackle homelessness and rough sleeping over the spending review period.</p><p>The Rough Sleeping Initiative (RSI) does not ‘allocate’ bed spaces and specialist support staff to local authorities, but funds based on the bids that the local authorities themselves submitted (in some cases with the support of our expert rough sleeping advisers). We recognise that rough sleeping impacts different areas in different ways, and so we work to ensure local areas can respond flexibly to the unique challenges they face.</p><p>Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, in conjunction with Doncaster and Rotherham, was successful in bidding for RSI funding in 2019/20. This funding is expected to provide a total of 37 additional bed spaces and 9 staff over the two years. As a whole South Yorkshire is expected to deliver 37 bed spaces and at least 17 staff through the RSI in its first two years.</p><p>In its first year, RSI funding provided over 1,750 new bed spaces and 500 staff across the country.
