For the majority of such vessels, the standards applied are not those which are under review. A limited number of vessels could be brought into service under these older Regulations.</p><p> </p><p>Any vessels subject to the standards that will be modified by the review will have a two-year phase in period for compliance from the in-force date of the new legislation. This advisory support was sourced from the current Specialist Technical and Commercial Advice for Rail (STAR) Framework.</p><p> </p><p>The response to HL15714 simply reflects the fact that the Member for Pendle, Andrew Stephenson MP, has made strong representations to Ministers about the proposal to reinstate the Colne-Skipton rail link. Under the terms of the commercial arrangement, the Government purchased the necessary allowances on behalf of British Steel Limited in the week leading up to 30 April and then surrendered them, via British Steel Limited's Operator Holding Account, to the EU Surrender Account. This occurred before the 30th April compliance deadline to surrender allowances for the 2018 reporting year, thus enabling British Steel Limited to meet its environmental obligations and avoid any penalties that would otherwise have resulted from non-compliance. Time spent in temporary accommodation means people are getting help and it ensures no family is without a roof over their head.</p><p>We have put in place an ambitious programme of work to support households out of Temporary Accommodation. The Homelessness Reduction Act, which came into force in April 2018, bolsters the support offer for families and individuals by ensuring that there are more opportunities for local authorities to put in place bespoke interventions to either prevent homelessness from happening in the first place, or relieve them from a homelessness crisis where it does occur.</p><p>We have also put in place targeted funding streams focused on reducing the number of households in Temporary Accommodation as part of our £1.2 billion spending programme. It included in its office requirements space for up to 76 staff in order to provide flexibility for periods where there is a higher volume of work and therefore a need for additional temporary staff, such as General Election periods.</p><p>To disclose the size of the office or rate paid per square metre would be prejudicial to commercial interests.
