Under the terms of the commercial arrangement, the Government purchased the necessary allowances on behalf of British Steel Limited in the week leading up to 30 April and then surrendered them, via British Steel Limited's Operator Holding Account, to the EU Surrender Account. This occurred before the 30th April compliance deadline to surrender allowances for the 2018 reporting year, thus enabling British Steel Limited to meet its environmental obligations and avoid any penalties that would otherwise have resulted from non-compliance. Time spent in temporary accommodation means people are getting help and it ensures no family is without a roof over their head.</p><p>We have put in place an ambitious programme of work to support households out of Temporary Accommodation. The Homelessness Reduction Act, which came into force in April 2018, bolsters the support offer for families and individuals by ensuring that there are more opportunities for local authorities to put in place bespoke interventions to either prevent homelessness from happening in the first place, or relieve them from a homelessness crisis where it does occur.</p><p>We have also put in place targeted funding streams focused on reducing the number of households in Temporary Accommodation as part of our £1.2 billion spending programme. It included in its office requirements space for up to 76 staff in order to provide flexibility for periods where there is a higher volume of work and therefore a need for additional temporary staff, such as General Election periods.</p><p>To disclose the size of the office or rate paid per square metre would be prejudicial to commercial interests. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/06/2019 answer text <p>The Timpson review was commissioned to explore exclusions practice and why children with some characteristics, such as children from particular ethnic groups, are more likely to be excluded from school. No data is held on the characteristics of the individuals who met with the review team, but understanding the variation in exclusion rates between pupil groups was a consideration across the review’s evidence gathering and engagement, and the report is informed by extensive engagement with all those involved in exclusion, including children who had been excluded and their parents.</p><p>The review heard from excluded children and parents during the call for evidence as well as during fieldwork visits. This included during visits to schools as well as meetings arranged specifically to hear from parent and carer groups. Locations for visits were selected based on matching areas with similar pupil populations, including the proportion who were from ethnic minority backgrounds. The review is also informed by independent research undertaken by Coram on the experience of children, including children who had been excluded, and their parents. Information on the gender and ethnicity of children whose parents spoke to Coram is published as part of their report.
