Up-rating UK State Pensions for recipients who are overseas residents is longstanding; state Pensions are payable worldwide and are up-rated where there is a legal requirement to do so.</p><p> </p><p>The policy on the up-rating of UK State Pensions paid to recipients living outside the UK has been in place for over 70 years. The UK State Pension is payable worldwide without regard to nationality. Entitlement to the UK State Pension is based on the national insurance contributions on a person’s national insurance record. The annual index-linked increases to UK State Pensions are paid to recipients overseas only where there is a legal requirement to do so, for example in EEA countries or in countries where there is a reciprocal agreement in place that provides for the up-rating of the UK State Pension. Drama is taught as part of the English curriculum and dance is included in PE &amp; sport. At Key Stage 4 (pupils aged 14 – 16), there is a statutory entitlement for every pupil to take an arts subject, if they wish to do so. The freight operating companies will be able to apply for these additional paths in accordance with normal railway industry processes. The freight operators are independent commercial companies and the types of cargo, the tonnages and the routes will depend upon the demand that exists from their customers at that time. In addition, we have made available £557 million to support further deployment of renewable technologies through our Contract for Difference scheme.</p><p> </p><p>The Political Declaration on energy cooperation between the North Seas Countries – focussed on regional coordination in the development of hybrid projects linking offshore windfarms with interconnectors - is a voluntary, intergovernmental initiative outside formal EU structures. Therefore, the UK’s participation is not affected by EU exit. North Seas cooperation is an area with the potential to benefit both UK consumers and business, by facilitating renewable energy and contributing to decarbonisation and security of supply.
