star this property answer text <p>All of the funding required is in place for the remaining work at West Ealing, Ealing Broadway and Acton Main Line. The Department for Transport has regular discussions with Network Rail and Crossrail Limited regarding the Network Rail works. Network Rail closely monitors its finances through monthly reporting to Crossrail Limited.</p><p> </p><p>In Control Period 5, £16.6m of funding was allocated to the build elements of the Crossrail station upgrade works at West Ealing, Ealing Broadway and Acton Main Line. Of this funding £16.6m has been spent.</p><p> </p><p>In Control Period 6, £64.4m of funding has been allocated to the Crossrail station upgrade works at West Ealing, Ealing Broadway and Acton Main Line.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy was created in July 2016. Bullying or harassment is not tolerated at BEIS. BEIS is taking active steps where needed to address any issues, and is one of the best performing departments in government with regards to creating an inclusive culture, as highlighted by the cross-civil service people survey results.</p><p>Below are the figures for the number of bullying and/or harassment cases recorded against members of BEIS staff where advice and guidance was sought from our HR Casework Services team. Ministers have also held meetings with Biogen, NICE and NHS England on a number of occasions, at which the availability of Spinraza was discussed.</p><p>NHS England and NICE have made stakeholders and the public aware of the outcome of its appraisal committee meeting and NICE is now able to recommend the use of Spinraza for National Health Service patients in England, subject to a managed access agreement agreed between NHS England and Biogen. The final appraisal document will be published in due course.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Government does not collect official data on the use of food banks, therefore has not made such assessments.</p><p>We have worked with food insecurity experts, the Office for National Statistics and the Scottish Government to introduce a new set of food security questions in the Family Resources Survey starting from April 2019. This means that we will in future be able to monitor the prevalence and severity of household food insecurity across the UK and for specific groups, to better understand the drivers of food insecurity and identify which groups are most at risk.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The UK regularly meets with a range of organisations to discuss healthcare for Palestinians in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and surrounding countries, including Medical Aid for Palestinians, the World Health Organisation, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and the UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. The UK has made a commitment to UNRWA of up to £80m over the next two years, to help provide medical services and education to Palestinian refugees living across the Middle East. The UK has also provided £3.5m of support to the International Committee of the Red Cross Appeal over the last year to help the healthcare system, particularly in Gaza.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The UK remains deeply concerned by the situation in Gaza and we continue to engage closely with the World Health Organisation, UN OCHA, MaP, and other health and humanitarian-based NGOs working in Gaza to ensure we are we are able to monitor the situation and humanitarian needs there. The Government has not made its own assessment of this specific issue.</p><p> </p><p>To help ensure hospitals in Gaza can continue to provide essential services on a range of health issues, we provided £1.5 million for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) OPTs Appeal in 2018, and a further £2m in 2019. This new funding will contribute to the delivery of surgical equipment, drugs and disposables, wound dressing kits, and rehabilitative prosthetics. It will also help provide physical rehabilitation services for up to 3,000 disabled people. The UK remains engaged on the challenges facing Gaza’s health sector and we will continue to monitor the situation closely.</p> more like this
