This training has been evaluated and found to be effective at improving knowledge and attitudes of police officers. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/04/2019 answer text <p>It is the responsibility of the police to investigate allegations of domestic abuse.</p><p>HMICFRS’ latest inspection on domestic abuse found that the police response continues to improve, particularly around the first response. Furthermore, police recorded domestic abuse crimes have increased by over 60% in the last three years, demonstrating increased victim confidence to report and better police recording of these crimes. Overall, prosecutions and convictions for domestic abuse are both up since 2010 – by 20 per cent and 28 per cent respectively, with 76% of all prosecutions resulting in successful convictions, the highest since 2010.</p><p><br>Our landmark draft Domestic Abuse Bill and consultation response published in January includes measures to help the police tackle domestic abuse, including the creation of a Domestic Abuse Protection Notice and Order and training for police. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/06/2019 answer text <p>We have checked the records that the department has kept since the introduction of the Cabinet Office guidance on settlement agreements on 1 February 2015 and confirm that we have one record, of using an NDA with a departmental staff member in July 2015.</p><p>The use of this NDA was unintentional i.e. the standard NDA paragraph was accidently left in the template by mistake. We are not aware of the Home Office using NDA for departmental staff other than this since the new guidance was introduced. However, the records examined were cross-matched from several different data sets, assembled for different purposes. The scheme is open to Christian, Muslim, Sikh and Hindu faiths and provides funding for physical security measures at places which are vulnerable to hate crime.</p><p>Decisions on funding are based on eligibility criteria set out in the Home Office guidance to applicants and the recommendations of the multi-faith independent advisory panel (with security expertise), this process therefore includes an assessment of vulnerability to hate crime. Last month, we announced an uplift of funding for the 2019/20 Places of Worship scheme to £1.6 million. For example, the Office for Disability Issues in the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) leads on disability policy, the Race Disparity Unit in the Cabinet Office is key to our approach on race equality, DWP and HM Treasury are responsible for addressing income inequality within the UK, and the Department for International Development leads on tackling inequality between countries.</p><p>To aid transparency, all Departments are expected to set out how their activity aligns to the Goals in their Single Departmental Plans. The scheme has been running for three years, and we ensure we continuously listen to feedback from faith communities on the scheme, including the independent panel to the scheme made up of representatives across faith groups. This feedback has resulted in improvements being made for each year of the scheme.</p><p><br>In March the Home Secretary announced an increase in the amount of funding for the POW scheme to £1.6m, for 2019-20. We are working urgently to make commercial improvements to the scheme to make it easier for places of worship to apply, reducing the administrative burden and widening the eligibility criteria.</p><p><br>More widely, following the events in Christchurch, the Home Secretary committed to consulting with faith communities to understand what more could and should be done to help protect faith communities at their places of worship. We will be working with groups such as the Anti-Muslim Hatred Working Group, Tell Mama and those representing other faiths as part of this consultation. This engagement with communities is starting immediately with opportunities for wider consultation, including from people feeding in on individual basis, following thereafter. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/04/2019 answer text <p>Stalking is an insidious crime that has a deep and significant impact on victims’ wellbeing. Both online and offline, perpetrators leave victims feeling constantly at risk and looking over their shoulder. This Government is committed to ensuring that victims are supported.</p><p>On 8 April we published the Online Harms White Paper and in it we set out our proposals to address both harmful and illegal conduct and content, including a broad range of online harms associated with abuse, including stalking.</p><p>Additionally, the Government has provided Refuge with £250,000 of funding through the Tampon Tax to provide specialist nationwide support to staff and survivors who experience technologically facilitated abuse.
