answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/02/2019 answer text <p>Guidance is available from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) on the assessment and initial management of fever in children under five, and this guidance includes recommendations on recognising the symptoms of Kawasaki disease.</p><p> </p><p>NICE’s clinical guidelines help healthcare professionals deliver the best possible care based on the best available evidence; the guidelines are not mandatory, although health and care commissioners are expected to take them fully into account.</p><p> </p><p>Information about the symptoms, causes, diagnosis, treatment and complications of Kawasaki disease is also available on the National Health Service website.</p><p> </p><p>Furthermore, learning information and resources for clinicians about Kawasaki disease is available from Societi, The UK Kawasaki Disease Foundation. In doing so, CCGs need to ensure that the services they provide are fit for purpose, reflect the needs of the local population, are based on the available evidence, and take into account national guidelines. However, PHE has been involved in reviewing the current evidence for the potential health effects of bioaerosols resulting from composting facilities, including facilities recycling food waste. This assessment concluded that while there is some suggestive, albeit limited, qualitative evidence linking bioaerosol emissions from composting facilities to possible respiratory effects, further study is needed for confirmation and to explore other health outcomes.
