Wherever the Government is made aware this is not the case we have taken action to withdraw the product from the market.</p><p>Following the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’s (MHCLG) investigation into Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) composite fire doors, MHCLG took swift action to stop the production and distribution of this type of fire door. As a result, no new doors of this type were placed on the market, until evidence that they consistently meet the standard has been demonstrated. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/01/2019 answer text <p>There are no plans to abolish the NHS surcharge for non-EU citizens who pay National Insurance contributions. The surcharge is intended to represent a fair and proportionate financial contribution to the NHS by migrants, corresponding with their temporary immigration status</p><p>Temporary migrants will not have built up the long-term relationship and contribution to the UK that a permanent resident has built up, and will build up, over the course of their lifetime.</p><p>It is, therefore, the migrant’s immigra-tion status that determines whether they pay the surcharge, not their tax contributions or their profession. The Government recognises, however, that temporary migrants contribute to the UK economy in a number of ways, including paying income tax and national insurance; these contributions are reflected in the surcharge levels, which are below the average per capi-ta cost to the NHS of treating temporary migrants.</p><p>The Immigration Health Charge does not apply to migrants granted indefinite leave to remain; those granted this status qualify for free NHS care if they are properly settled in the UK.</p> answering member constituency Romsey and Southampton North answering member printed Caroline Nokes question first answered 24/01/2019 17:01:32 answering member 4048 label Biography information for Caroline Nokes

Victims of crime should be treated as victims first and foremost. The need to broaden access was highlighted in the 2018 Creative Industries sector deal.</p><p>Amongst other measures, we are providing £2 million seed funding for an industry-led Creative Careers Programme over the next 4 years to improve the supply of talent and open up opportunities to a broader audience.</p><p>Additionally, the British Film Institute (BFI) leads on a number of initiatives to encourage people from all backgrounds to pursue careers in the screen sector, from the BFI diversity standards to the BFI Film Academy. We will also continue to work with industry through the joint government-industry Creative Industry Council to open up employment opportunities in the sector. DCMS is working with the British Film Institute (BFI) to drive improved diversity by promoting the uptake of the BFI Diversity Standards. These focus on training as well as representation, and are designed to drive lasting change in the workforce. The BFI has set a target of all producers active in the UK having voluntarily accepted the BFI Diversity Standards by 2022.
