Our Ageing Society Grand Challenge includes £98 million of Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund investment into a ‘healthy ageing programme’, which will drive the development of new products and services to help people live in their homes longer, tackle loneliness and increase independence and wellbeing.</p><p> </p><p>BEIS is also supporting economic development and tackling regional disparities across the UK through the Strength in Places Fund, which received an additional £120 million of funding in Autumn Budget 2018. The percentage of electricity generated by nuclear in 2010 was 16.4%, in 2017 it was 20.8% (DUKES, 2011 &amp; 2018). We want to see a diverse range of sources for Britain’s energy production. Toshiba’s decision to withdraw from the Moorside project does not change this, and due to the long lead up time to the project it will not affect security of supply. We anticipate entering into negotiations with some further sectors that can best meet those expectations.</p><p> </p><p>I welcome the chemistry sector’s interest in a Deal. My rt. hon. In light of the ever-changing national security environment and in support of the SDSR 2015, the National Security Council (NSC) commissioned a focused National Security Capability Review (NSCR), published in March 2018. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/01/2019 answer text <p>Departments continually review workforce plans, reprioritise and assess changing needs, which includes identification and cessation of non-priority work where appropriate. We have accelerated our plans, and at the same time, the Civil Service as a whole is working to ensure that EU Exit Implementation is carried out to high quality without impacting public service delivery across the whole of government. The Cabinet Office has staff working on EU exit implementation for a range of scenarios in the interests of preparedness, however the percentage of time spent on exiting the EU without a deal is not recorded or easily accessible.</p><p> </p><p>Cabinet Office are currently looking to increase the numbers of staff trained to be part of the Civil Contingencies Secretariat to form a flexible pool to be used if and when required.
