unstar this property answer text <p>I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave him on 24 October 2018 to Question 179252. The Department is continuing to work through all outstanding cases, and at the end of November a total of ninety are being reviewed.</p><p>All eligible cases referred to the Secretary of State for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy will be considered under The Green Deal Framework (Disclosure, Acknowledgment, Redress etc.) Regulations 2012 (the Regulations). The Department is committed to resolving those cases fairly and as quickly as possible. However, the complex and legal nature of the redress process prescribed by the Regulations and volume of information we receive from consumers means complaints take some time to resolve. The Department has obtained additional support to review cases in order to speed up the process and is aiming to address the backlog of appeals.</p><p> </p><p> </p><table><tbody><tr><td><p>Months outstanding</p></td><td><p>Number of appeals</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>1</p></td><td><p>6</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>2</p></td><td><p>4</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>3</p></td><td><p>9</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>4</p></td><td><p>8</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>5</p></td><td><p>1</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>6</p></td><td><p>5</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>7</p></td><td><p>3</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>8</p></td><td><p>3</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>9</p></td><td><p>10</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>10</p></td><td><p>10</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>11</p></td><td><p>14</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>12</p></td><td><p>10</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>Longer than 12 months</p></td><td><p>7</p></td></tr></tbody></table>
