The Department is continuing to work through all outstanding cases, and at the end of November a total of ninety are being reviewed.</p><p>All eligible cases referred to the Secretary of State for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy will be considered under The Green Deal Framework (Disclosure, Acknowledgment, Redress etc.) Regulations 2012 (the Regulations). The Department is committed to resolving those cases fairly and as quickly as possible. However, the complex and legal nature of the redress process prescribed by the Regulations and volume of information we receive from consumers means complaints take some time to resolve. This is why the Government committed to safeguard the post office network and protect existing rural services. The overall number of post offices across the UK remains at its most stable in decades with over 11,500 branches thanks to significant Government investment of over £2 billion since 2010.</p><p> </p><p>While the Government sets the strategic direction for the Post Office, it allows the company the commercial freedom to deliver this strategy as an independent business. Franchising is an operational matter for the Post Office. I have therefore asked Paula Vennells, the Group Chief Executive of Post Office Limited, to write to the hon Member on this matter. Friend the Prime Minister in August with the full support of the Ministry of Defence. We are currently undertaking a review of our evidence on levelised costs of electricity generation.</p><p> </p><p>The cost of developing, building and operating any onshore or offshore wind farm will vary according to site specific characteristics.
