Additionally, employers have a common law duty to take reasonable care for their employees.</p><p> </p><p>While the HSAW only applies to those working in the UK, there is an expectation that employers consider HSAW aspects of employees working overseas. The Committee will report to Parliament, following which the Government intends to respond to the Committee’s report.
