	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/11/2018 answer text <p>The Department has made clear it is looking to the rail industry for innovation in considering the use of alternative fuels, such as hydrogen, in the future.</p><p> </p><p>We are aware that Alstom are working with Eversholt on the conversion of class 321 units to bi-modes using hydrogen fuel cells in the UK. Also, Porterbrook have entered into a partnership with the Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education (‘BCRRE’) to create HydroFlex where Porterbrook will provide a ‘Class 319’ electric unit to BCRRE for conversion into a hydrogen powered train. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/11/2018 answer text <p>The Government has not seen evidence that the use of scrubbing technology would have a significant effect on the marine environment.</p><p> </p><p>All scrubbers must comply with mandatory Guidelines, which were developed by the International Maritime Organization, before they are allowed to become operational. Any wash water discharges are controlled under these IMO Guidelines.</p><p> </p><p>We have asked for more evidence from ship owners and industry associations about the content of wash water, and there are a number of ongoing industry-led studies on the issue. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/11/2018 answer text <p>The Government announced on 18 October 2018 that, as part of the Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy (CWIS) Safety Review, The Highway Code would be reviewed to help keep cyclists and pedestrians safe on the roads. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/11/2018 answer text <p>The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) supervises the MOT scheme on behalf of the Department. The DVSA authorises testers to conduct MOTs.
