	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/10/2018 answer text <p>In the Victims Strategy, published on 10 September, we committed to bring forward proposals for a consultation on the detail of a Victims’ Law. As I said in this House, when announcing the publication of the Victims Strategy, we plan to consult in 2019. In taking this work forward we have already begun discussions with victims and victims groups.</p><p> </p><p>In undertaking a consultation we will follow Government guidance, which states that consultations should last for a proportionate amount of time for effective engagement.
