<p>As set out in its White Paper published on 12 July 2018, the government is seeking a deep and comprehensive economic partnership with the EU, broader in scope than any other that exists between the EU and a third country. This partnership will protect jobs and support growth while respecting the UK’s sovereignty, preserving the constitutional and economic integrity of the UK’s own Union, and respecting the EU’s autonomy and the integrity of the Single Market.</p>
