star this property answer text <p>The Government is clear that discrimination and harassment of LGBT people is wrong.</p><p> </p><p>While there has been great progress in workplace equality over recent years, we know from the National LGBT survey that too many LGBT people feel unable to be themselves at work and that the majority of incidents in the workplace were left unreported.</p><p> </p><p>This is why we have committed in the LGBT Action plan to provide employers with free training materials to support LGBT inclusion in the workplace. We will also bring together employers to help us understand the experiences of LGBT staff in different sectors and to develop targeted interventions to improve the experience of LGBT people at work.</p><p> </p><p>The Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service already provide invaluable advice to employers on workplace equality. They will make sure that LGBT harassment is included in sexual harassment policies and guidance they issue.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Government backs aerospace through its Aerospace Growth Partnership with industry, which tackles barriers to growth, boost exports and grows high value jobs in the UK. This includes, committing £1.95 billion to aerospace R&amp;D until 2026.</p><p> </p><p>This partnership has supported the sector’s growth. Since 2010 turnover has grown from £23.7 billion to £34.9 billion; industry R&amp;D spend has grown from £1.4 billion to 1.9 billion; exports have increased from £18 billion to £36 billion; and direct jobs have increased from 110,000 to 120,000.</p> more like this

Published statistics on timeliness of criminal proceedings set out the average number of days taken from sending to the Crown Court to main hearing in the Crown Court.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The table attached provides the average number of days taken from sending to the Crown Court to main hearing for Crown Court Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) offences in England and Wales for 2016 and 2017. star this property answer text <p>The majority of pensioners have their State Pension paid into a bank account. As most bank accounts can be accessed at the Post Office, claimants can collect their payments that way. Since January, 99% of banks’ personal customers are able to withdraw cash, deposit cash and cheques, and make balance enquiries at a Post Office counter via its network of 11,600 branches. The Department also has arrangements in place to ensure that the majority of those who cannot access a bank account, can collect their State Pension at the Post Office using a Post Office card account.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>In 2017 from non-EU countries, the UK imported approximately:</p><p> </p><ul><li>£4 billion of ‘plants which are food’, weighing 3.7 million tonnes.</li><li>£4 billion of ‘meat and animal products’, weighing 1 million tonnes.</li><li>£6 billion of ‘other food products’, weighing 7.1 million tonnes.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Ports keep records of all consignments of imported food of animal origin and high-risk food not of animal origin (food not of animal origin subject to EU sampling legislation) on the TRACES computer system. Other government bodies such as HMRC also keep some records of food imports.</p><p> </p><p>It should be noted that HMRC only collect details of imports of goods at specific points of entry from non-EU countries – currently the same data is not collected for movements of goods from EU member states at specific points of entry.</p> more like this

Ministers and officials regularly liaise with colleagues across Government including with HMRC. This includes discussions on the UK’s systems for the management of trade in animal and plant materials.
