answer text
National statistics on the number of people living in in-work relative low income are set out in the annual "Households Below Average Income" publication. Average incomes are not available at constituency or ward level in this publication because the survey sample sizes are too small to support the production of robust estimates at this geography. However figures at a regional level are available as a three year rolling average. National figures are available for individual years.

Figures on average incomes by region and for England can be found in the link below, in table 2.5ts, and sets out median and mean incomes before housing costs (BHC) and after housing costs (AHC). Figures for the UK can be found in table 2.1ts, which shows UK income deciles but also the median and mean incomes, both before and after housing costs.

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/691966/income-values-and-inequality-measures-hbai-1994-95-2016-17-tables.ods

answer text
An HMPPS instruction (PSI 17/2016) advises Pre-sentence report (PSR) writers must consider requesting a full adjournment for the preparation of a PSR where a custodial sentence outcome appears likely, and an offender discloses that they are transgender, on the basis that transgender people may have more complex needs. This guidance is included in the Equal Treatment Bench Book chapter on transgender, published by the Judicial Office. Additionally, a local Transgender Case Board should be convened, either during pre-sentence report preparation or within three working days of reception into custody, to assess and determine the most appropriate location and initial care and management plan for the transgender individual in custody.

Regardless of where a transgender individual is being held, we expect that they will be respected and addressed in the gender with which they identify; and we are committed to ensuring that they are treated fairly, lawfully and decently.
more like this

answer text
Information on the number of missing incidents of looked after children in each of the last three years by their placement type has been published in Table G1 of the statistical release ‘Children looked after in England including adoption: 2016 to 2017’ at https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/children-looked-after-in-england-including-adoption-2016-to-2017.

Information on the number of missing incidents of looked after children by provider and the distance from the placing authority are provided in the attached table. In 2016/17, missing incidents were reported for 10,700 children, some of whom will have multiple missing incidents.

This information was collected for the first time in 2014-15 and so figures for earlier years are not available.

These statistics are experimental statistics based on data collected for the first time in 2015 and should be treated with caution as local councils’ recording of this information is improving over time. The figures are therefore not comparable between years and any assessment of trends should take this into account. The information provided does not mean that the number of children going missing is increasing in the volumes indicated in the table.

Local councils have improved their reporting of missing incidents through increased collaboration with partner organisations and carers, updated recording systems, and further training for carers to improve understanding of reporting processes.

In addition, the £4.4 billion Priority School Building Programme is rebuilding or refurbishing school buildings in the very worst condition across the country. Local authorities, academy trusts and others responsible for school buildings conduct their own assessments of condition so that they can prioritise investment of capital funding to meet local needs.

The Department is undertaking the Condition Data Collection (CDC) programme, the successor to the Property Data Survey (PDS) programme, which is expected to be completed in autumn 2019. CDC will provide a high-level assessment of the building condition of all state-funded schools and will inform our approach to capital funding.
