	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/03/2018 answer text <p>We are committed to ensuring that the public continues to be protected as more Artificial Intelligence applications come into use across different sectors. The Office for AI, a joint BEIS-DCMS policy team, has a role there, as do Departments and regulators responsible for those sectors. The Government is also establishing a Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation to help organisations to use digital innovation responsibly.</p><p> </p><p>Artificial Intelligence is expected to have a significant effect on cyber security and it is DCMS's role to understand the policy implications of this, backed up expert technical guidance provided by the National Cyber Security Centre. Using AI applications could also greatly improve threat detection and protections. The UK has already set out robust cyber security measures to help ensure the UK is the safest place in the world to live and be online. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/03/2018 answer text <p>The £2m market trial of the Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme is currently operating in four areas across the country: Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, Bristol, with Bath and North East Somerset, Coventry and Warwickshire, and West Yorkshire and York. On 15th March 2018 the Chancellor announced our intention to extend this market trial into a national scheme. The £67m national scheme will operate across all areas of the UK, including the west of Scotland, and will be launched by the end of March 2018. We do not have an estimate of the charity sector's income derived from 1p and 2p donations, however, cash remains the most common way for people to donate and the average given is around £40 per donation. We welcome the positive step that has been taken to ensure that all companies in Great Britain with more than 250 employees are required to report their gender pay gap to the Government Equalities Office.</p><p> </p><p>We know there is some work to do to narrow the gender pay gap across the sport sector. If this is to happen progress must continue to be made in the wider culture of sport to ensure women are treated equally to men at all levels. The 2016 National Youth Social Action Survey showed that young people who had participated in social action in the past 12 months had stronger personal networks and higher life satisfaction than those who have never done any social action. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/03/2018 answer text <p>Government recently announced that £90m of dormant assets will support disadvantaged and disengaged young people access employment.</p><p> </p><p>The Big Lottery Fund (BLF) is named in the dormant assets legislation as the distributor of this money and Government is working closely with them to develop plans and their funding programme.
