	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/02/2018 answer text <p>Category B2 gaming machines generated around £1.8bn in revenue to the betting industry in 2016/17. However, players can access other types of gaming machine content on B2 gaming machines in betting shops (primarily B3) so we know that of this £1.8bn, a proportion (around 30%) is attributable to other gaming machine content. This is because industry data is categorised under the highest category of game available on that particular terminal. For example, if a terminal offers category B2 and B3 games, operators attribute all revenue to the B2 machine category.</p><p> </p><p>We therefore estimate that in total players lost approximately £1.2bn on B2 gaming machines in 2016/17 (detail can be found in the consultation impact assessment at: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/655970/Impact_Assessment_-_Consultation_on_proposals_for_changes_to_Gaming_Machines_and_Social_Responsibility_Measures.pdf ).</p><p> </p><p>More information on patterns of play on B2 gaming machines can be found at the following link:</p><p>http://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/news-action-and-statistics/Statistics-and-research/Statistics/Cross-venue-machines-data.aspx</p><p> </p><p>The consultation on proposals for changes to gaming machines and social responsibility measures closed on 23 January. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/02/2018 answer text <p>DCMS is aware that a contract exists between the Marine Heritage Foundation (MHF) and Odyssey Marine Exploration and that MHF ​has also confirmed that there is no contractual arrangement with OME concerning any artefacts which may be recovered from the wreck of HMS Victory, which were not passed to MHF pursuant to a Deed of Gift dated 12 January 2012 between the Ministry of Defence and MHF. If any such artefacts are found, they will be notified to the Receiver of Wrecks to be dealt with according to law. However, in preparation for the upcoming Civil Society Strategy, we will be exploring the range of challenges and opportunities that face charities, including on the subject of leadership. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/02/2018 answer text <p>Sexual harassment is completely unacceptable and has no place in the name of charity or charitable fundraising.</p><p>Charities have a duty to fundraise responsibly and in line with their values. Charity trustees must also consider the well-being and protection of staff, volunteers and beneficiaries – not just those they are there to help. The Charity Commission, the independent registrar and regulator of charities in England and Wales, is assessing and dealing with the allegations that have been raised regarding the Presidents Club Charitable Trust as a matter of urgency. It has said that it will deal robustly with any misconduct or mismanagement it finds, and will consider what further regulatory action may be required.</p><p>The Code of Fundraising Practice sets out the standards expected of all charitable fundraising organisations across the UK, requiring their fundraising to be “….open, honest and respectful”. The Code is regulated by the independent Fundraising Regulator, which has said it will consider any case where it appears an organisation has failed to meet these principles.</p><p> </p><p>The Fundraising Regulator has assessed the allegations regarding the President’s Club charity dinner. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/02/2018 answer text <p>It is not possible to make an estimate of the full level of funding for each year across the whole sector given the many sources of public funding, including from central and local government. Any such assessment would also be limited to the current Spending Review period, which runs to 2019/20.</p><p> </p><p>The Mendoza Review: an independent review of museums in England did an overall assessment of public funding and captured 11 quantifiable sources over the past decade from 2007-08 to 2016-17. On average this amounted to £844m per year.</p><p> </p><p>The Mendoza Review identified further sources of funding that could not be quantified, including: business rates relief; gift aid; European funding; and one-off grants. The Museums and Galleries Tax Relief supporting permanent and temporary exhibitions has come into effect since the Mendoza review was published.
