answer text <p>The legislative ban on opening new grammar schools remains in place, however, the law allows the expansion of existing schools.</p><p> </p><p>Grammar schools, like all other types of schools, are able to propose an expansion of their school site. Any proposal to expand onto a satellite site in another local authority area, would need to demonstrate that it would be a genuine expansion and would not constitute a new school.</p> more like this
