	question text	To ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Baroness Williams of Trafford on 15 January (HL4538), whether they will now answer the specific questions asked, namely (1) whether they have made any assessment of the finding of the report by Quilliam, Group Based Child Sexual Exploitation – Dissecting Grooming Gangs, published in December 2017, that 84 per cent of child sexual exploitation offenders who operate in gangs or groups are Asian, most of whom are men “of Pakistani (Muslim) origin”, (2) what is their estimate of that percentage, and (3) if different, on what statistics and records they have based their estimate; and if they will not answer those questions, why not.

As referred to in the previous answer we have invested a significant amount of funding in a new independent Centre of Expertise on Child Sexual Abuse which is drawing on government, academic, law enforcement and civil society sources of information to assess the scale and nature of CSEA.</p><p>With enhanced understanding of the nature and demographics of offending, we will further improve our response. We have not assessed the Quilliam report assessment. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/01/2018 answer text <p>We are greatly concerned by the discovery of mass graves in Inn Din village and note the acknowledgement by the Burmese military of their responsibility.</p><p>This is the first instance of the Burmese military admitting to wrongdoing in the violence in Rakhine state that has taken place since 25 August 2017. The Burmese military has committed to take action and we strongly urge them to follow an independent, due legal process and be transparent about the prosecution of the perpetrators. The Burmese authorities should also condemn such extrajudicial acts unequivocally. We regret that the Burmese authorities have so far refused to grant the Mission access to Burma. We are maintaining international pressure, including through the UN Human Rights Council and UN General Assembly resolutions we co-sponsored in December 2017.</p><p>The UK has repeatedly lobbied the Burmese authorities to cooperate with the Fact-Finding Mission. British Embassy officials in Tel Aviv most recently raised the issue with the Israeli authorities on 16 January, and senior British Government officials raised this issue with the Israeli Ambassador to the UK on 8 January. The Minister for the Middle East raised our concerns with the Israeli Government during his visit to Israel in August 2017. We have recently raised this as part of the UN Human Rights Council's Universal Periodic Review into Israel.</p><p>We recognise that in some circumstances the Israelis have a legitimate need to deploy security measures to address instances of violence. We encourage that such measures are deployed in a way which minimises tension and using only appropriate force.
