This level of growth is not sufficient to create the necessary jobs for a growing labour force or to improve living standards. International bodies (the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the United Nations) conclude that Israeli constraints on movement, access and trade remain a key impediment to economic progress in the OPTs and that full potential will not be reached without a final political resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
