answer text <p>The Government’s policy paper (Cm 9464), which was laid before Parliament on 26 June, sets out our proposals that European Union (EU) citizens who arrive in the UK before the specified date and have five years’ continuous residence in the UK will be able to apply for UK settled status.</p><p> </p><p>The details of the settled status scheme will be subject to negotiations. We will publish further detail on the specifics of the new application process for settled status, including detailed eligibility criteria and requirements, in due course.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government wants to create a world-beating technical education system and is investing heavily to ensure that it delivers the skills that the economy needs.</p><p> </p><p>We will deliver 3 million apprenticeships by 2020, and drive up the quality of apprenticeships to ensure they deliver the skills employers need.</p><p> </p><p>We are developing a system of technical education based on 15 new technical routes and introducing new qualifications, known as T-levels, which will provide clear pathways to jobs.</p><p> </p><p>We are also strengthening the provider base, including by establishing a network of new Institutes of Technology specialising in delivering higher-level technical skills.</p> more like this
