Currently, almost 11 million pensioners are being targeted annually by cold callers.</p><p> </p><p>The proposed ban, which allows calls where an existing relationship exists or at the express request of the recipient, is intended to allow legitimate businesses to continue to operate. The Government sought evidence on potential impacts on firms as part of its consultation. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/03/2017 answer text <p>The Government has made no recent assessment of the current and future number of complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service about retirement product mis-selling.</p><p> </p><p>In July 2016 the Financial Conduct Authority launched the Retirement Outcomes Review to look at how firms and consumers have responded to the new freedoms.
