<p>The Home Secretary has received a formal request from the police to authorise a replacement conductive energy device for use by police forces in England and Wales. A decision will be made in due course</p><p>The operational usage, testing and procurement of police equipment are matters for Chief Officers and Police and Crime Commissioners.</p>
