<p>Whilst the Home Office fully supports the police exploiting technology to help cut crime wherever possible, the assessment of the effectiveness of body-worn cameras in a) capturing evidence leading to successful prosecution and (b) preventing unwarranted charges being brought against police officers is an operational consideration for policing.</p>
