star this property answer text <p>All chief officers of police must comply with the legal requirement under <br>section 63D(2)(b) of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (as inserted by <br>section 1 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012) on destroying the <br>fingerprints and DNA belonging to individuals who have been unlawfully <br>arrested.
