HMG is an enthusiastic supporter of MPAs, having established MPAs in the British Indian Ocean Territory and South Georgia & the South Sandwich Islands. An MPA will be considered where there are scientific reasons for it, there is effective enforcement and monitoring capability and the costs are not prohibitive. more like this

star this property answer text The coalition, which includes a number of regional partners, as well as ‘western’ nations, takes every possible precaution to avoid civilian casualties, unlike the ISIL terrorists who show no respect for human rights or human life within the territory they control. Coalition targets are selected with the utmost care, the times of attack are carefully chosen and precision guided weapons are used. We are not aware of UK strikes causing civilian casualties. more like this

star this property answer text Since 2010 the government has committed £780 million to bringing Britain into the digital superfast lane. The rollout of superfast broadband will reach 95% of the UK by 2017 because of our investment and the match funding it has leveraged. In addition to rolling out superfast to 95% we are exploring ways to go beyond this through a series of pilot schemes; and we are extending our successful Connection Voucher Scheme which helps businesses with broadband connection costs. Currently available in the 22 Super Connected Cities, the Connection Voucher scheme will be extended to more cities in 2015. more like this
