	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/12/2014 answer text <p>The Home Office has not commissioned research on the contribution of testing household products and their ingredients on animals to the UK economy.<br><br>We have made a commitment to ban the testing of household products on animals. Although superficially straightforward, this issue has not been easy to resolve. Any solution has to be legally viable since we cannot ban testing <br>which may be required under UK or EU law. <br><br>We also need to be cautious that we do not develop a solution that precludes research that is essential or drives necessary research overseas. The key issue is around ingredients. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/12/2014 answer text <p>Border Force Heathrow does not record desk occupancy as they operate a flexible approach in resourcing the immigration control. Fixed resources are deployed at each terminal between the non-EEA control and the EEA/EU control and, if required, flexible teams from across the estate are deployed to support the fixed terminal staff in times of increased passenger flow.</p><p>This is done in advance by Border Force's central resourcing team, matching resource levels to expected demand and on the day through proactive management by duty managers with the aim of operating within agreed service level agreements with the airport authority (95% of the time within 25 minutes for EEA/EU and 95% of the time within 45 minutes for non-EEA/EU). Some companies have these already, but we are encouraging other platforms to reach the standards of the best. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/12/2014 answer text <p>Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) have an important role in holding their forces to account and focussing on cutting crime. It is right that they are held to the very highest standards. It is precisely because PCCs are visible, elected individuals that they are able to be held to account in this way, quite in contrast to police authorities. PCCs are delivering a level of transparency, visibility and accountability that did not exist before 2012 under the Police Authority model of police governance.</p><p>There have been 44 PCC related complaints referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC). Of these referrals, only six have led to an independent investigation conducted by the IPCC, and two managed investigations which are carried out by external police forces under the direction and control of the IPCC. The remainder did not meet the IPCC’s threshold for investigation.
