These are matters for NHS England’s Cancer Drugs Fund clinical panel.</p><p> </p><p><br> The panel plans to meet on 15 and 16 December to assess, on the basis of the latest evidence, whether certain drugs should continue to be made routinely available to new patients through the Fund and to consider a number of new drugs for potential addition to the Fund.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>In making such decisions, the panel will take into account a number of factors, including unmet need.</p><p> </p><p><br> NHS England has assured the Department that no patient whose treatment is currently being funded through the Fund will have funding withdrawn, as long as it is clinically appropriate that they continue to receive that treatment. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/12/2014 answer text <p>DECC published a report from Deloitte LLP in December 2012, ‘Study of the UK petroleum retail market’, which considered long term changes to the retail market for road fuels in the UK, and the implications of these changes to our energy resilience. The market has changed significantly over the last decade. However, the findings of the report do not suggest that changes to the size and shape of the retail market for road fuels have significantly reduced the access of UK motorists to a local supply of fuel. The report found that in 2011, 98% of postcode sectors had a petrol filling station within a 10 minute driving time, and 92% had more than two within the same travel time.</p><p>Decisions on the location of individual petrol filling stations are for local planning authorities to make. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/12/2014 answer text <p>In November 2010, this Government published its policy statement “Securing the Post Office network in the digital age”, which made a clear commitment that this Government would end the programmes of closure of the previous administration, and instead invest in the Post Office to secure a network of at least 11,500 branches with a sustainable long-term future.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Since 2010, this Government has committed nearly £2 billion to maintain, modernise and protect the Post Office network, and this is clearly reflected in the network figures that show the size of the network is now stabilised. It is important to note that within a network of over 11,500 branches that is overwhelmingly operated by independent agents, there will be fluctuations in the number of open branches as subpostmasters leave the network for a number of reasons, such as retirement. Where a replacement is not immediately available, the Post Office works hard to restore access to services in the community.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Post Office makes details of the size of its network available to Parliament on a regular basis. These show that at on 31 March 2005, there were 14,609 post offices. The comparative figure at the end of the 2013-14 reporting year showed there were 11,697 branches. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/12/2014 answer text <p>Large numbers of independent schools are in partnership with state schools; the Independent Schools Council found that 92% of its member schools were operating some form of partnership. At the start of 2014 the Department for Education held a successful conference to promote such partnerships, and last month the Department announced that 18 new primary sector partnerships would be getting DfE funding for their start-up costs. Ideally partnerships draw on the strengths of each member school to maximise advantage for all pupils. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/12/2014 answer text <p>Local authorities and their Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) are responsible for drawing up locally agreed syllabuses which all non-faith-based maintained schools, and some voluntary controlled and faith designated foundation schools, must follow. These syllabuses should be broadly Christian whilst taking account of the teaching and practices of the other principal religions represented in Great Britain.</p><p> </p><p>Faith schools may develop their own syllabuses according to their trust deeds and/or the tenets of their faith.</p><p> </p><p>SACREs should monitor the provision and quality of RE taught according to the agreed syllabus, and provide advice and support on the effective teaching of RE in those schools.</p><p> </p><p>SACREs can draw on resources produced by experts when carrying out their work.
